Global Maritime are pleased to announce that Mr. Alessio Lombardi (Regional Manager, APAC) and Mr. Jihai Wang (Senior Surveyor, Singapore) have passed the IMCA DP Practitioner Accreditation examination held in July 2019 in Singapore. Alessio and Jihai are the first accredited DP practitioners in Global Maritime.
According to IMCA, the IMCA DP Practitioner Accreditation scheme aims to improve the consistency and conduct of DP trials throughout the industry; and to set a recognised level of knowledge for DP practitioners responsible for developing, witnessing and reporting of DP trials, and those responsible for the management of the DP assurance processes.
Global Maritime are supporting the initiative and all DP personnel worldwide are scheduled to complete the examination for Accreditation.
