Marine and engineering consultancy Global Maritime Deutschland GmbH (GM) has been awarded a contract by O.S. Energy GmbH, to provide Dynamic Positioning (DP) Consultancy services for their newbuild fleet of DP2 offshore service vessels.
These specially designed Offshore Survey and Service Vessels (OSSV) will primarily operate in offshore wind farms across the North and Baltic Seas, setting new benchmarks for versatility, environmental sustainability, and energy efficiency. Their modern design enables them to perform a wide range of services, including subsea inspections, environmental and seabed surveys, and equipment supply. The first vessel is expected to be delivered in the first half of 2026.
GM’s scope of work encompasses DP consultancy and support related to the planned newbuild fleet. With three newbuilds already confirmed, this includes the full DP assurance scope.
This latest contract award further strengthens our established partnership with OS Energy, with Global Maritime Deutschland GmbH performing IMCA CMID Inspections over the past three years.
