Global Maritime Australia Pty Ltd is proud to announce the award of a contract by Iberdrola Renewables Australia to deliver Marine Services in support of the Aurora Green offshore wind project.
Under this agreement, Global Maritime will apply its extensive expertise to provide a comprehensive range of Marine Services, including vessel inspections, general marine and consultancy support, and HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality) services.
Global Maritime’s involvement in the Aurora Green project commenced with attendance as the Client Representative during the loadout and installation of the LiDAR buoy and seabed frame, as part of the recent deployment of Floating LiDAR and Metocean measurement equipment from Port Anthony.
Aurora Green is a 3-GW offshore wind project under development, located 25+ kilometres offshore between Seaspray and Woodside Beach within the Gippsland Offshore Wind Zone. Once fully operational, Aurora Green will have the capacity to generate renewable energy sufficient for up to 2.25 million Australian households. This represents a significant advancement in Australia's transition towards clean energy and supports both national and global decarbonisation objectives.
