Global Maritime, a leading provider of specialist and owners engineering, integrated geoscience solutions, marine warranty and advisory services and consultancy, is pleased to announce the appointment of David Edwards as the new Country Manager for Japan.
David brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in business development and project management within the maritime and energy sectors. His expertise will be instrumental in driving Global Maritime's growth and strengthening its presence in the Japanese market.
David's role will encompass overseeing all aspects of the company's operations in Japan, enhancing client relationships, and spearheading new business initiatives. His leadership and strategic vision are expected to contribute significantly to the company's mission of delivering excellence in marine and offshore services.

This appointment marks a continuation within the APAC region for GM to support with the drive across the offshore renewables sector. Having worked within the Japanese sector for the last three years, this appointment will enable us to support and grow locally in parallel with the Japanese offshore wind growth commitments.

David holds a Master of Science (MS), Business Analytics, from the Stern School of Business at New York University and has previously held key positions at Principle Power and Northland Power. His appointment is effective 1 June 2024.
