Global Maritime is delighted to announce the successful completion of marine warranty service (MWS) for the SK408W Jerun CPP Jacket and Topside, carried out for SAPURAOMV Upstream (Sarawak) Inc and executed by Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Sdn Bhd.

Over the span of two years, the Global Maritime APAC team provided comprehensive support, conducting reviews of structures and equipment, and performing inspections throughout the design and installation phases for the Central Processing Platform (CPP) topside, alongside its 11,200 MT jacket at the Jerun gas field in Offshore Bintulu, Sarawak, Malaysia. Weighing approximately 15,000 MT, the Jerun CPP topside underwent meticulous crossover and sail away operations on February 25, 2024, achieving a remarkable milestone of 10.5 million man-hours without a single lost time injury (LTI).

This successful project underscores the immense effort, support, and dedication of the Global Maritime APAC team in overseeing MWS activities across various phases of the project, including design, analysis, loadout, transportation, and installation.

As we celebrate this accomplishment, the APAC team at Global Maritime eagerly anticipates utilizing our accumulated experiences and expertise in forthcoming projects, continuing to uphold our unwavering commitment to excellence and safety of marine operations within the oil and gas industry.
