Global Maritime is pleased to announce the appointment of Rolf Åge Vågen as our new Global Business Stream Director for Marine Operations.
With over 15 years of experience in engineering and project management within the renewables and oil and gas sectors, Rolf Åge offers extensive expertise to support complex global marine operations. He began his career as a Naval Architect specialising in mooring design and operations before progressing into project and organisational management roles. Rolf has played a pivotal role in establishing the foundations of what is now recognised as the Marine Operations Business Stream.
In his new role, Rolf Åge will oversee the Marine Operations business stream, providing both commercial leadership and technical guidance on a global scale. He will be responsible for executing the strategic plan, identifying international growth opportunities and supporting the wider Global Maritime strategy.
