Tell us a bit about your current role and what it entails?

As a Project Controller in Global Maritime AS, my work week has great variation. Mainly, my tasks consists of keeping track on the financial and administrative side of projects. This involves forecasting, invoicing and being a support function to project managers. The Project Controller role is not limited to project support - the role also allows me to support many different aspects of the company. For example, I am responsible for PPE and making sure everyone is properly equipped for site and offshore work! I like that I am able to help and support across different areas, and that I am not limited in the role that I have.

What has been your favourite Global Maritime project to work on?

My favourite project has to be Hywind Scotland Main Component Exchange. From an administrative perspective, it was a project that challenged us in a good and constructive manner. It encouraged me to explore new methods of controlling complex workstreams. The best part was seeing genuine teamwork and cooperation across departments. Hywind Scotland brought many lessons learnt, and gave us practical, transferable insights for managing large‑scale delivery in the future.

What are you most excited about as you move into 2026?

Moving into 2026 I am excited to see what the year will bring - which new projects we will win, and which opportunities are discovered. From the administrative side we always try to propose improvements in the workflow and the support we deliver, so I also look forward to what our innovative thinking will bring for 2026!

Lastly, what do you enjoy most about working at Global Maritime?

What I love most about working at Global Maritime is the people, the culture and my team! It is a great supportive working environment, and it makes me want to do my best every day. I value the opportunities for development and colleagues who are always willing to help. With the variety of projects and how they are managed, we are constantly learning and improving - both as individuals and as a team.
