Project for Statens Veivesen in a consortium with COWI Aas Jacobsen, Johs Holt. Developing a 5.5 km long floating bridge over Bjornafjorden south of Bergen in Norway.
GM Scope of Work includes:
Development of BoD and analysis of environmental data, all hydrodynamic design and analysis of complete bridge including pontoons, mooring system, marine operations, installation procedures, ship collision design, risk analysis on the concept selection process,
Further work will include assistance on model testing of all the concepts.
