Global Maritime is pleased to announce that we have been shortlisted for the International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) Awards 2025 in the category of Greenhouse Gas Reduction Project of the Year, recognising our innovative Pollution Prevention Management System (PPMS) for its measurable impact on reducing emissions and reinforcing our ongoing commitment to sustainability.
Launched earlier this year in collaboration with Roeland van der Linde, the Pollution Prevention Management System is designed to improve environmental performance across the marine industry. The system delivers a comprehensive baseline for compliance, identifies opportunities for improvement, and enables operators to achieve quantifiable reductions in greenhouse gas emissions. By minimising environmental impact, reducing operating costs, and ensuring alignment with current and forthcoming MARPOL requirements, the Pollution Prevention Management System supports both immediate and long-term sustainability commitments.
