Global Maritime Consultancy Ltd, in collaboration with our consortium partner, FCS Mar Eng Su (Angola), is pleased to announce the successful completion of the Marine Warranty Surveyor (MWS) scope for the Agogo Full Field Development in Angola Block 15/06, marketing an important milestone within the Agogo Integrated West Hub Project.
The Agogo development features a new FPSO operating in ultra-deep sea (water depth 1600m+), with 22 new wells. The Agogo FPSO arrived in field in May 2025, with first oil achieved in August 2025. The installation of the final warranted asset was completed in January 2026, concluding the MWS scope for this development.
Global Maritime has supported developments within Block 15/06 since 2013, starting with the West Hub Development Project. Our team has continued this involvement through the Agogo EP development in 2019, with the first production well tied back to the N’Goma FPSO, and the MWS scope for the Agogo Full Field Development commenced in late 2022.
The Global Maritime and FCS consortium has been instrumental in delivering several key MWS scopes across Angola’s offshore projects. A central focus of this collaboration is the advancement of local participation. Approximately 40% of in‑country work for Agogo was delivered by trained Angolan nationals, highlighting the consortium’s commitment to building long‑term local capability.
