Global Maritime is delighted to have been recognised as a 5 Star Employer by WorkBuzz; an honour based upon positive employee feedback received through an independent employee engagement survey.
The WorkBuzz 5-Star Employer is awarded to employers who are exceeding industry benchmarks for employee experience, with the award based on engagement scores, response rates and survey frequency. Among the companies participating in the 5 Star Employer Award programme, only 5% achieved the 5-Star status.
In October 2024, WorkBuzz invited all Global Maritime employees to share confidential feedback on their workplace experience. This included their views on leadership, organisational direction, line manager effectiveness, the strength of teamwork, and how empowered they feel to fulfil their roles. With an impressive 85% engagement score, Global Maritime demonstrated high levels of employee engagement compared to industry standards.
