Management team

Jonny, a Chartered Engineer and member of the Society of Offshore MWS, holds a Masters in Naval Architecture has been with Global Maritime since 2012. Jonny has more than 20 years of experience in the maritime and offshore industry. Prior to joining the Executive Committee, Jonny was Manager of Global Maritime’s operations in Scotland, having developed a particular focus on projects within the Offshore Wind sector during this time.

He was Project Manager for Global Maritime on many Engineering and Marine Warranty Scopes of work, including the construction of the first phase of the Kincardine Floating Windfarm, and the deployment of the STP Buoy at the Aje Field, Offshore Nigeria. A former Commonwealth and British Champion in the sport of Rowing, Jonny is still a keen competitor in several sports and enjoys running, sailing, wakeboarding and competitive mountain biking in his home country of Scotland, where he lives with his wife and two children.

Livar has been with Global Maritime since 2017 and has solid experience across a number of finance functions in large, complex multinational companies both in Norway and internationally (Group and Regional financial management including SEC for FPI's, FP&A, M&A and Strategy).

Livar Melhus is a state authorized public accountant with a master degree in accounting and auditing from BI Nydalen in addition to being a siviløkonom from Norwegian School of Economics. He started this career in EY, and he have held different positions in PwC and Seadrill. He currently resides in Stavanger, Norway with his wife and two kids. A former tennis player now turned football enthusiast that enjoys running and hiking in his limited spare time.

Mats has been with Global Maritime since 2014 and has 20 years of experience from the offshore industry, with widespread experience within Project Management, Offshore Operations and Business Development both in Norway and internationally.

Prior to joining Global Maritime, he held various positions within International Specialized Mooring and subsea construction companies as Viking Moorings and DOF Subsea. Mats was responsible for starting Global Maritime's Marine Operations Business stream in 2016 and have grown the team from only himself to more than 30 great individuals in 2022. He resides in Randaberg outside Stavanger, Norway with his partner and two kids. In his spare time the family is often exploring the fjords with their boat, and he still has high hopes to bring his 1967 Lancia Flavia Coupe back to former glory.

Ekkhard has been with Global Maritime since 2008. He has been with the Maritime Industry little over 30 years. From Deep Sea to Offshore he worked through the ranks from being a Ship Mechanic, to Mate and Master. Before joining Global Maritime, he achieved an MSc in Maritime Operations and Management from City University, London. Initially working as a DP consultant, Marine Warranty Surveyor, Expert Witness and Marine Advisor on projects worldwide for our London office, he moved on to build the German operation for Global Maritime before being called to head up the Business Stream of Marine Services for the group in 2019 and Marine COO in 2022.

He serves on the Board of Directors of the Society of Marine Warranty Surveyors (SOMWS) and contributes to several initiatives of the Joint Natural Resources Committee (JNRC) of the Lloyds Market association. He is a passionate sailor and still races Olympic class catamarans and classic yachts in his spare time.

Scott joined Global Maritime in spring 2021 and brings 20 years technical sales, marketing and commercial experience and over 10 years offshore wind experience. Starting his career in more a mechanical engineering backdrop, Scott joined us from EPCI contractor, Boskalis Offshore Energy where he was Commercial Manager for the UK & Ireland.

Scott has previously run his own business strategy consultancy and worked in senior Business Development roles for large multinational contractors. Scott currently overseas the global business development , tender and marketing communication team . In his spare time Scott is involved in youth football, plays the occasional game of golf & squash, has a real passion for music (listening , mixing/creating and learning Ukulele!) and is re-establishing his hobby of sailing now his 3 children are older.

Hannah Crutchley has been with Global Maritime since 2017 and is an experienced Safety and Sustainability Officer with a demonstrated history of working in the energy industry, specifically maritime and offshore for over 12 years. Ms Crutchley started her career in Perth and has gained international experience with recent roles in Stavanger, Oslo and London. Currently Ms Crutchley is based in Singapore as the Regional Manager for APAC. 

Prior to joining Global Maritime, Hannah has worked in Senior roles in Offshore Contracting companies across EPIC projects.

Sarah James joined Global Maritime in May 2019 and is based in our London office.  Sarah is the Global HR Manager and has responsibility for developing strategic HR procedures and standards to ensure a consistent global approach to key initiatives.  She has extensive experience in employee relations, policy & compliance, recruitment and coaching.

Sarah previously worked for 10 years for Koch Supply & Trading; a commodity trading company where she was HR manager responsible for the UK and APAC regions.

Anny Erfjord Lingsten joined Global Maritime November 2022 and is based in our Stavanger office. Anny is an experienced HR professional skilled in HR business partnering, passionate for employee engagement, competency development and quality assurance within HR processes.

Anny has a history of working in the IT and Energy industry. She holds a master’s in business administration (MBA) from BI School of Management / Fudan University, Shanghai, China with an international focus. Anny resides in Stavanger with her husband and three children. She loves spending time in her cabin in her home village Erfjord, enjoying outdoor activities like hiking, skiing, and boat life.
