Global Maritime's St. John's office completed a mooring and unmooring risk assessment study for a vessel owner in working in Canada. The goal of this study was to provide safe and practical deck operations for the crew.
The scope of work required Global Maritime to identify and quantify the risks associated with multiple modes of mooring quayside. Using the outcome of the risk assessment and discussions with the client, recommendations on the mode of operation and operational considerations were provided to the client.
