MWS Nemba ESR & Flare Reduction Project

Global Maritime was assigned as the MWS provider for the loadout, transportation and installation of the South Nemba Auxiliary (SNX) Platform topsides, jacket, and bridge and for the related platform modifications to the existing South Nemba “A” Platform.

The SNX platform is located in 386 ft of water in the Cabinda Area B, offshore Cabinda, Angola West Africa. The SNX platform was bridge-connected to the existing South Nemba “A” Platform.

MWS Scope of Work included:

- Inspection of cargo vessel and associated marine systems required for transit from Okpo, Korea to Sonamet yard, Angola prior to sailaway;

- Witness preparations and approve operations for the installation of the SNX platform Jacket and Piles;

- Witness preparations and approve operations for the installation of the SNX platform’s Deck, Flare Boom, Helideck and Bridge.
