MWS Kizomba Satellites II

American Global Maritime was the MWS contractor for Exxon’s Kizomba Satellites II Project, in which the objective of the Kizomba Project was to develop the remaining discovered, undeveloped assets on Block 15 in Angola. AGM reviewed and approved the installation procedures for the load-out and transportation of materials: SURF components, structures, pipe, flowlines and umbilicals associated with the KSP2.

In particular, components consisted of the production line and water injection lines including the FLET and PLET, subsea structures (manifolds, modules, etc) and jumpers, umbilical installation as well as procedures for load-out / transpooling activity and carousel lifting / transfer activities.

- Witness and issue a certificate for load-out of the components at the fabrication yard(s).

- Issue a Certificate of Approval after the completeness of the load-out sea fastening, and tow preparation for sail-away of the transport barge/ tugs and HLV.

- Offshore attendance and issue Certificates of Approval for installation of the components.
