Statement of Compliance

For parts of MWS projects at the Norwegian office, clients have requirement of third party documentation review without any required site or offshore attendance. These operations are of a standard nature with a lower risk of economic loss. The client requirement is that the Warranty Surveyor shall approve the documentation, i.e. operational procedures and analyses, according to governing rules and regulations. Based on the approved documentation the Warranty Surveyor will issue a “Statement of Warrant Compliance”, which shows that the marine operation may start, given that the procedures are followed and any limitations taken into account.

The Statement of Compliance is a certificate stating that documented procedures and analyses is according to governing rules and regulations. The Statement of Compliance does not however approve vessels or equipment involved without physical inspections, i.e. no site or marine attendance required.
