Platform Decommissioning

Based on our engineering expertise and practical experience Global Maritime is able to find safe solutions to challenging decommissioning activities.  We have developed several concepts for removal of different offshore structures, including both offshore removal and inshore dismantling work.  This also includes the design of a single lift vessel for removal of platform topsides and steel jackets.  We have also carried out FEED and cost studies, and are up-to-date on the various challenges involved with platform removal work.

GM have prepared engineering studies, safety and risk analyses, produced abandonment plans for government approval, undertaken demolition engineering, developed marine operations for removal, and acted as site representatives for disposal operations.
