Axis Offshore, the joint venture established in July this year by Danish shipowner J.Lauritzen and oil and gas private equity firm HitecVision, has confirmed an order for a 500 person 104.5m x 65m semisubmersible accommodation rig.

The OSV Middle East will run from the 17th to the 20th September and is the only specialist conference for Offshore Support Vessels. Utilising David’s background in the subject of Redundancy, focus will be drawn on the considerations that should be made when looking at vessel design.
