Casualty Investigations, Loss Investigations and Expert Opinion
The senior staff of Global Maritime has many years experience, both practical and theoretical, of the marine industries - offshore oil & gas exploration and commercial shipping. We provide expert assistance to P&I clubs, marine solicitors and insurance interests on a range of naval architectural issues when things have gone wrong and routinely act as independent technical experts in matters involving litigation and insurance claims.
Global Maritime provides technical expertise for investigation of accidents that have resulted in claims for loss of life, personnel injury and major commercial loss. Investigations have included damage to subsea pipelines, flooding of semi-submersible vessels, significant damage to mooring systems from heavy weather and operational practices. We also act as technical expert witness to the court and in arbitration on marine matters
